New development coming to South Bozeman

A new development is slated for South Bozeman. The Blackwood Groves subdivision will be located between 11th and 19th Avenue, next to Sacajawea Middle School. Developers Bridger Land Group is planning a mix of residential units, commercial space, parks and trails on the nearly 120 acres.

The development will include 127 single household lots, 22 townhouse/row house lots and 14 multi household lots, 3 commercial lots and 8 open space lots with 16 park lots. Developers are planning for single family homes, multi unit buildings and smaller homes called “cottage homes”. Prices will range from under the median Bozeman home price to over $1 million.

Developers are also planning to include a central commercial area dubbed “miniature Main Street” inside the development.
