The Bozeman real estate market has taken off this summer/fall! We have so many buyers – especially coming from out of state – and very little inventory. We’ve seen many homes come on the market and have multiple offers and sell well above asking price. People ask us “do you think the market will slow down soon?” Our answer is: people have to stop moving here in order for our market to slow down and we don’t see that happening anytime soon! If you’re wondering how the market is doing compared to this time last year, here are some September stats from the Gallatin Association of Realtors

In condo/townhome and single family homes, inventory has gone down by 60%. Pending sales in both markets have increased over 50%. Although the median sales price of condos/townhomes has only increased 1.5%, for single family homes it’s increased almost 20%.  You can also take a look at our July stats to see the difference of a few months.
